Since joining from Porto in 2018, the 24-year-old has made 107 appearances for Manchester United in all competitions.
Dalot, who spent the previous season on loan at AC Milan, has committed himself to the club for the next five years, with the option for an additional season.
“Playing for Manchester United is one of the highest honours that you can have in football,” the 11-cap Portugal international said.
Speaking about his new deal, the Portuguese international described playing for Manchester United as one of the highest honors in football and expressed his growing passion for the club.
The right-back believes that the team is embarking on a special journey and vows to dedicate himself relentlessly to help the team achieve its goals and make the fans proud. Dalot expressed his focus on the upcoming FA Cup final and stated that the entire team is intensely preparing for the match.

“Diogo has a strong mentality, high standards and a great personality, and we are delighted that he will remain an important member of the squad for the coming years.”
Although Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been in excellent form and may start in the FA Cup final against Manchester City, Manchester United’s football director, John Murtough, praised Dalot’s progress and highlighted his qualities as an excellent defender with pace, strength, and versatility.
Murtough commended Dalot’s work ethic, professionalism, and strong mentality, expressing delight that he will remain an important member of the squad in the coming years.
