Liverpool FC Summer Transfer Targets: Who Could They Sign to Bolster Their Squad?

Liverpool will be hoping to land Jude Bellingham this summer

This summer, Liverpool are no longer in the running to sign Jude Bellingham.

The Reds are reportedly unwilling to pay the anticipated price tag for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, who is projected to cost more over £100 million, according to numerous outlets, including The Telegraph.

Anfield management instead intends to invest heavily in current liverpool team.

James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Naby Keita are anticipated to follow Roberto Firmino out of the Merseyside club at the end of the current campaign when their contracts expire in June.

The Premier League giants will give Klopp a transfer budget to use to bring in a number of players as he looks to turn around a poor campaign.

With nine games left, Liverpool is currently seventh in the standings and 12 points outside of the Champions League spots.

Mason Mount, a midfielder for Chelsea, is now thought to be the top target this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The only teams still in the running to sign England’s young phenom Bellingham are Manchester City and Real Madrid.
