Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha is reportedly engaged in discussions with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) regarding a potential free transfer move this summer. The 30-year-old player’s contract with Crystal Palace is set to expire at the end of the month, and his future destination is yet to be confirmed.
Recent rumors suggested that Zaha had been offered a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, following the footsteps of players like Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo who have made moves to the Middle East.
However, The Sun now indicates that the Ivorian is in talks to stay in Europe and join French Ligue 1 giants PSG.
Although there is no concrete offer from PSG at this stage, a move to the French capital would align with Zaha’s desire to play in the UEFA Champions League, a goal he has openly expressed.
Crystal Palace is keen to retain their star forward and has reportedly offered him a contract worth £200,000 per week to stay at Selhurst Park.
Furthermore, there is reported interest from other European clubs, with AC Milan among those vying to secure Zaha’s signature on a free transfer. The coming weeks will likely shed light on Zaha’s future as negotiations progress and potential offers are made.
